| 备注 |
Banco de José Bunster was a private provincial bank operating out of La Serena, Chile — one of several regional institutions authorized under Chile's 1860 banking law that permitted private note issue. Bunster's bank was among the smaller players, which makes its surviving paper relatively scarce compared to the major Santiago houses.
The American Bank Note Company contract explains the high production quality. ABNC handled a substantial portion of Chilean private bank printing in this period, often recycling border and vignette elements across multiple clients' plates — worth examining closely if attribution questions arise.
