| 备注 |
Banco Internacional was one of several private commercial banks operating in Mexico during the Porfiriato, authorized to issue notes under the permissive banking legislation that preceded the 1897 Ley General de Instituciones de Crédito — the law that finally rationalized (and sharply curtailed) private note-issuing privileges. The bank's notes were printed by the American Bank Note Company in New York, which held near-total dominance over Mexican private bank printing during this period.
The S-prefix in the Pick reference signals a private bank "state" or commercial issue, distinct from federal currency. Banco Internacional itself had a short operational life, and survivor notes from this series are genuinely uncommon.
