| 正面描述 | This Notgeld issue is presented as a perforated sheet of four individual coupons, each printed in white typography on a solid black ground. Each coupon bears the legend 'LANDGEMEINDE' at the top, the denomination numeral in large bold type flanked by 'Pf.' abbreviations on either side, and the issuing authority 'THALE a.H.' at the base. The four coupons — denominated 1, 2, 3, and 4 Pfennig respectively — are separated by rows of circular perforation, intended to allow individual separation. |

| 备注 |
Thale am Harz issued its own emergency currency — Notgeld — during the severe coin shortage that gripped Germany in the early Weimar period. Municipal and local authorities across the country were effectively forced into becoming temporary note issuers, filling a gap the Reichsbank could not or would not address fast enough at the small-denomination end.
Low-denomination Notgeld from rural Harz communities circulated intensely and wore out quickly. Paper issues at the 10 Pfennig level were among the most heavily handled.
