Opmerkingen

Amtshauptmannschaft Flöha was a rural administrative district in Saxony, and like hundreds of similar bodies across Germany in 1917–1921, it was forced into the currency business by a shortage of small-denomination Reichsbank coin. The notgeld issued under the Bezirks-Verband name was a local stopgap — purely functional, covering transactions that metal coinage could no longer handle once wartime hoarding stripped it from circulation.

Flöha district issues are not heavily documented in the major notgeld catalogs, and attribution of specific printings to particular municipal printers in the region remains inconsistent across reference sources.
