| Obverse description | Cream-toned note with a fine guilloche underprint and a scalloped ornamental border. The municipal coat of arms of Weida — a red heraldic vignette with elaborate baroque scrollwork and a crest of foliage above a walled gateway flanked by two towers — is centred on the face. The denomination '10 PF.' appears in bold black letterpress on both sides of the arms, with the arc legend 'NOTGELD DER STADT WEIDA (TH.)' at the top, two manuscript signatures below under the rubrics 'DER GEMEINDEVORSTAND' and 'DER GEMEINDERAT', and a three-line redemption clause in italic type at the foot, above the printer's imprint. |
