Numeral 10 counters appear at the upper corners, with ornate foliate borders framing the composition, and the printer's imprint of Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. appears at the foot. |

| Descrição do reverso | The reverse is printed entirely in rose-pink, with an elaborate symmetrical guilloche design composed of interlocking lathe-work rosettes and scrollwork filling the entire field. THE NATAL BANK LIMITED is lettered across the upper portion, split above and below the central motif, which comprises a starburst medallion enclosing the numeral 10. A CANCELLED perforation is present at the lower centre, consistent with the trial or specimen status of the note. |
