背面描述	The courtyard of the Umayyad Mosque in Damascus is rendered in a detailed intaglio vignette occupying the central and left portions of the note, with the minarets and arcaded galleries clearly delineated. A large blank watermark oval appears at right. The inscription "CENTRAL BANK OF SYRIA" runs across the top, with "TEN SYRIAN POUNDS" and the date "1968" along the lower margin, flanked by the numeral "10" in decorative panels at each side.
