Opmerkingen

The Central Bank of Yemen was established in 1971 following the currency reforms of the Yemen Arab Republic, and De La Rue supplied much of the early note production for Sana'a. By 1990, the republic was in the final months of its separate existence — unification with the People's Democratic Republic of Yemen to the south took effect in May of that year, making this issue one of the last produced solely under the northern Yemeni authority before the unified Republic of Yemen's own currency arrangements were worked out.

The print date of 30 April 1945 is almost certainly a catalog or data entry error and should be verified against the note itself.
