| Description du revers | Printed in blue-green on cream paper, the reverse is dominated by a central vignette of two caparisoned elephants, each bearing a mahout, flanking the large numeral '10' set within an elaborate quatrefoil guilloche. The denomination 'RUPEES' appears as a pale underprint behind the central motif, with 'TEN RUPEES' in Roman script along the lower margin. To the left, the value is rendered in multiple Indian scripts including Devanagari, Bengali, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, Gujarati, and Urdu; the whole is enclosed within an intricate scrollwork and lace-pattern border. |
