| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in green and black on white paper, with a fine guilloche border framing the entire note. The Fijian colonial coat of arms appears as a vignette to the left, while the central field carries the denomination TEN SHILLINGS in bold letterpress within a decorative panel, flanked by an ornate numeral 10/- cartouche to the right. The date, serial number prefix, and two manuscript signatures of the Commissioners of Currency appear in the lower portion, above the issuing authority inscription. |
