| Beschrijving voorzijde | Green and pale ochre intaglio-printed note with an elaborate guilloche border framing the entire design. A central vignette presents an engraved tropical landscape with a tall palm tree and low scrubland, flanked by the bold arched legend THE WEST AFRICAN CURRENCY BOARD and the promise-to-pay text in scroll banners.
