Bradbury Wilkinson printed this series from their New Malden facility through the mid-1980s, a period when the firm was handling a substantial share of East African central bank contracts before its eventual absorption into De La Rue in 1990. The five distinct signature combinations across the P#20 run reflect genuine personnel changes at the Central Bank — Duncan Ndegwa's governorship gave way to Philip Ndegwa's in 1982, then Eric Kotut's from 1988, while the deputy governor slot turned over separately, producing the overlapping pairings collectors now use to sequence issues.
The Subiudyo-signed examples are the scarcest of the run, appearing only in the final two pairings as the series wound down.
