Reverse description The reverse is printed in brown and presents a large, centrally placed guilloche vignette of elliptical form, composed of intricately interlaced lathe-work rosettes and foliate acanthus scrolls radiating symmetrically from a central floral medallion. The overall design, executed in fine engine-turned line engraving, occupies virtually the entire face of the note with no textual inscription.
