背面描述	Printed entirely in red on white paper, the reverse is dominated by a central circular guilloche medallion enclosing an intaglio vignette of the National Coat of Arms of Peru, surrounded by elaborate lathe-work ornamental borders. Large numeral "10" counter-numerals appear in decorative frames at left and right, with further denomination numerals in the four corners.

备注	The Banco Central de Reserva del Perú relied on the American Bank Note Company for much of its mid-century printing work, a relationship common among Latin American central banks that lacked domestic intaglio capacity. By 1965, however, Peru was moving steadily toward locally printed issues, and this series would not survive the decade unchanged — the sol de oro itself was eventually replaced by the inti in 1985 following sustained inflationary pressure that had been building since the 1970s. P#88 belongs to a transitional phase in the series, issued while the ABNC still held the contract before production shifted.
