| Reverse description | Printed in blue, the reverse is dominated by a large central vignette of the Ecuadorian coat of arms — an oval shield surmounted by a condor with spread wings, enclosed within an ornate lathe-work border. The denomination numeral 10 appears in all four corners within guilloche frames, and the issuer's name BANCO CENTRAL DEL ECUADOR curves across the top of the central design. The denomination DIEZ SUCRES is lettered along the lower margin, with the printer's imprint AMERICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY at the very foot of the note. |
