| Obverse description | Central field features the state emblem of the Mongolian People's Republic (1960–1992 type), depicting a mounted horseman galloping left over a landscape, surmounted by a five-pointed star with the soyombo symbol, framed by wheat sheaves and a cogwheel at the base. The abbreviation БНМАУ appears on a scroll within the emblem. The date 1984 is inscribed in the lower field beneath the emblem, with the legend БНМАУ repeated along the lower rim. The entire design is enclosed within a decorative Greek key (meander) border running along the inner edge of the coin. |
