Obverse description Green intaglio print on a heavily guilloche-patterned ground. At centre, the denomination 십원 (拾圓) is rendered in large Chinese characters within an ornate cartouche, flanked by a blank oval underprint at left and a vignette of a traditional Korean pavilion at upper right. The issuer's name 韓國銀行 appears at lower left, with the series designation 號地 at upper and lower right corners.

Reverse description Brown letterpress print with a decorative guilloche border. The issuer's name THE BANK OF KOREA is inscribed across the top in large serif lettering, below which the promise clause Promises to Pay the Bearer on Demand is set in script. The central text reads TEN YEN IN GOLD or Nippon Ginko Note, with the denomination numeral 10 and TEN repeated in the corners; a blank oval at right serves as the watermark zone, and Japanese-script text appears in a bordered panel at lower right.
