正面描述 Portrait of Dr. Sun Yat-sen at left, set against a multicoloured guilloche underprint. Principal inscriptions are printed in red in traditional Chinese characters, reading horizontally from right to left, with a black overprint bearing additional vertical and horizontal text. The note carries the issuing authority's name, denomination, and a restriction legend limiting circulation to the Kinmen district.

备注

The Kinmen (Quemoy) series was a parallel currency system maintained by the Bank of Taiwan specifically for the offshore islands of Kinmen and Matsu, kept deliberately separate from the main Taiwan dollar to prevent arbitrage and control the flow of goods across a militarized zone. These notes were not legal tender on the Taiwan mainland and could not be freely exchanged — a hard currency barrier enforced at the strait.

The R112A designation places this within a restricted regional issue that persisted well into the late Cold War period, when Kinmen was still an active military garrison under martial law.
