| Obverse description | The national arms of Oman — crossed khanjar daggers and two crossed swords — appear at right centre against a multicolour arabesque guilloche underprint. The issuer's name in Arabic script is inscribed at top centre, with the denomination in large Arabic calligraphy at centre. Two signatures with their titles appear below the denomination value, and the note number is printed in Arabic-Indic numerals at upper left and lower left. Elaborate foliate cornerpieces and an intricate geometric border frame the design throughout. |

| Reverse description | An aerial perspective vignette of Port Qaboos at Mutrah occupies the central field, rendered in fine intaglio line work in brown on a light blue guilloche underprint, with the Hajar mountains visible in the background at upper left and vessels moored along the quayside. The issuer name "CENTRAL BANK OF OMAN" is inscribed in a banner at top, and the denomination numeral "100" appears at lower left and lower right within ornate scroll cartouches. A scalloped guilloche band runs along the lower border above the value legend. |
