Obverse description The obverse is based on the Austro-Hungarian Bank 100 Kronen note of 2 January 1912, printed in green and brown on a guilloche-patterned ground. To the right, an oval vignette frames a portrait of a young woman facing slightly left, rendered in fine intaglio engraving. The left panel carries the bank title OESTERREICHISCH-UNGARISCHE BANK, the denomination HUNDERT KRONEN, and the date in letterpress, with two facsimile signatures below; a circular Romanian fiscal overprint TIMBRU SPECIAL appears in the centre, validating the note for circulation in Bukovina. The denomination 100 is repeated in each upper corner, and multilingual denomination lines in Czech, Hungarian, Croatian, Ukrainian, Italian, and Romanian appear along the lower margin.

Reverse description The reverse, also derived from the original Austro-Hungarian 100 Kronen design of 1912, is printed predominantly in dark blue and grey on a fine guilloche underprint. An oval medallion to the right contains a profile portrait of a woman facing left, executed in intaglio. The left portion bears the Hungarian bank title OSZTRAK-MAGYAR BANK and the large denomination inscription SZAZ KORONA above the payment text and date BECS 1912 JANUAR 2AN, with three facsimile signatures and their role titles below. The Hungarian arms appear at lower left, and the serial number is printed in red. The lower right corner carries the anti-counterfeiting warning in Hungarian.
