Reverse description The reverse is printed in olive-brown and rose on a cream ground, centred on a large oval vignette of fine guilloche lathe-work enclosing a stylised landscape with wheat ears and floral garlands, surmounted by the bold intaglio inscription "HUNDERT" and the subsidiary panel "DEUTSCHE MARK". Denomination numerals "100" in rose appear at lower left and lower right within guilloche cartouches, and the header "BANKNOTE" runs along the top border. The anti-counterfeiting legal warning is typeset in small letters along the lower margin, while the right margin tab carries the letterpress inscription "HUNDERT MARK" flanking a rose guilloche rosette.
