| 表面の説明 | The obverse is printed in multicolour tones with a geometric guilloche underprint throughout. At upper centre, the bank name in bold Arabic calligraphy reads 'بنك السودان', beneath which the promise-to-pay clause appears in smaller Arabic script. The denomination 'مائة دينار' is inscribed in large Arabic letters across the centre, above a central vignette of an arched Moorish-style architectural portal rendered in intaglio. To the right, an intaglio vignette of a grand colonnaded riverside building — the Palace of the Governor-General in Khartoum — is set against a colourful guilloche background. A circular ornamental device appears at lower left alongside the Governor's facsimile signature, with the date given in both Hijri (ذو القعدة ١٤١٤ هـ) and Gregorian (إبريل ١٩٩٤) calendars at the bottom centre. |
