Opmerkingen

The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank replaced the East Caribbean Currency Authority in 1983, consolidating note issuance across eight island territories — Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Anguilla. A single currency design serves all eight, with no territorial distinction on the face of the note itself, which is an unusual arrangement for jurisdictions that are otherwise constitutionally separate.

Thomas De La Rue has printed ECCB notes continuously since the bank's founding. The P#35 series security package — watermark and embedded thread — reflects mid-1990s specification, before the regional adoption of more complex polymer or windowed thread features that came with later issues.
