Reverse description The Arms of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas occupies the central field, displaying the quartered shield featuring a British galleon in full sail above a rising sun, supported by a blue marlin on the dexter side and a flamingo on the sinister side. Above the shield rises a conch shell helm with a crest of a hand clutching a bundle of sugarcane fronds. The motto scroll below the shield bears the national motto FORWARD UPWARD ONWARD TOGETHER. The denomination ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS arcs along the upper periphery, with the date 1973 to the right of the shield. A beaded border frames the entire reverse.
