| Obverse description | The Armenian National Coat of Arms occupies the central field, depicting a quartered shield supported by an eagle to the left and a lion to the right, with a sword, a chain, and an olive branch below. The denomination '100' in large numerals with 'ԴՐԱՄ' (Dram) in Armenian script appears beneath the arms, and the date '1997' is inscribed in the lower exergue. The circular legend in Armenian script reads 'ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆԻ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ' (Republic of Armenia), flanked by two small ornamental rosette stops at the lower quarters.
