| Obverse description | Central to the obverse is a stylized sheaf of wheat ears, tightly bound at the stem and fanning outward in a symmetrical composition — an attribute emblematic of Demeter, goddess of the harvest. Below the sheaf, the Greek coat of arms is depicted within a small shield. The border is adorned with a continuous meander (Greek key) ornamental band. The legend ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗ ΔΗΜΟΚΡΑΤΙΑ arcs around the left and right periphery, while the denomination 100 ΕΥΡΩ appears in the lower field. |
