正面描述 Two standing male youths flank the central vignette, each leaning on a staff, with a classical female head in relief at the bottom centre framed by ornamental scrollwork. The denomination CENT FRANCS and the payability clause PAYABLES A VUE, AU PORTEUR appear in bold intaglio lettering at centre, above three signature lines with Arabic equivalents below. A black vertical overprint reading TUNISIE appears along the left margin, and two circular warning medallions are placed symmetrically on either side of the central text.

备注

The Banque de l'Algérie, established in 1851 as a colonial institution with note-issuing privileges, operated under close oversight from the Banque de France — and it shows in the production values here. Wullschleger was among the more technically accomplished intaglio engravers working in France during this period, and his work on this series reflects the full capabilities of the Imprimerie de la Banque de France's plate work rather than any colonial shortcut.

Harang, who exhibited under the pseudonym Cabasson, brought an academic painter's sensibility to banknote design — an unusual crossover for the period. The 1908–1911 window of issue predates the significant monetary disruptions that the First World War would bring to Algeria's currency supply, when note shortages prompted emergency issues from municipal chambers of commerce across the territory.
