| 背面描述 | The large bold numeral '100' dominates the central field, with the '0' digits rendered in an ornate dotted relief style with decorative inner borders. The word FRANCS appears in a straight legend below the numeral. The date is displayed at the bottom within a ribbon-like scroll framed by stylized geometric pillar motifs bearing chevron patterns, which flank both sides of the design. The legend BANQUE CENTRALE arcs along the upper periphery, and two small privy marks flank the numeral 100 in the field. |

The Banque Centrale des États de l'Afrique Équatoriale et du Cameroun was itself a transitional institution — it replaced the earlier Caisse Centrale de la France d'Outre-Mer and was later dissolved in 1972 when the Bank of Central African States (BEAC) took over monetary operations across Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Chad, the Republic of Congo, and Gabon. This 100 Francs issue falls squarely in that final window of the bank's existence, making it one of the last coinages struck under that authority before the institutional reorganization collapsed the issuer entirely.
