| Beschrijving voorzijde | Brown on blue-grey underprint, with an elaborate ornamental border composed of arabesques and volutes. The Coat of Arms of Suriname occupies the upper centre, showing two indigenous figures flanking an oval medallion with a sailing vessel, surmounted by the Latin motto "Justitia Pietas Fides" on a ribbon below. The central field carries the issuing text and manuscript date in Dutch, while the lower portion bears a horizontal vignette of the first European arrival in Suriname — figures exchanging greetings and offerings on a shoreline, with goods stacked on the beach and a sailing ship at anchor in the bay.
