备注

De Javasche Bank, established in Batavia in 1828, operated as the colonial central bank of the Dutch East Indies and held its note-issuing monopoly until nationalization in 1951. The 100 Gulden was among the highest circulating denominations in the series, primarily used in interbank and commercial transactions rather than everyday retail exchange — the colonial economy ran on much smaller fractions for most of the population.

Enschedé in Haarlem had printed for De Javasche Bank across multiple series; their long relationship with Dutch colonial monetary authorities made them the default choice for high-security colonial currency throughout this period. The watermark remains the primary security feature, consistent with Enschedé's production methods of the era.
