Two large symmetrical rosette medallions flank the central bird, interlaced with fine geometric lathe-work patterns. The denomination numeral 100 appears in the upper left and lower left corners, with the serial number prefix block printed in letterpress at upper left and upper right. The inscription NIEUW GUINEA is set in the lower margin, flanked by the issuance legend. |
