(Translation: Korean banknote, Hundred Hwan, Bank of Korea)
Reverse description Dark green on white. A central vignette presents the Dongnimmun (Independence Gate) in Seoul, rendered in fine intaglio line engraving with trees and a distant hillscape to either side. Flanking guilloche medallions carry the Sino-Korean numeral 百圜 at left and the Hangul 백환 at right, while the ornate English bank title arches across the top and the English denomination is lettered in serif capitals along the bottom border.
