| Reverse description | The reverse presents a bare-headed right-facing portrait bust of Syngman Rhee, the first President of the Republic of Korea, occupying the right portion of the field. The Hangul inscription '백환' (one hundred hwan) appears in large characters to the upper left of the portrait, with '한국은행' (Bank of Korea) inscribed vertically along the lower left rim. The field is otherwise plain, giving prominence to the presidential effigy. A small engraver's mark is visible near the lower right of the portrait truncation. |
