| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in brown on a light ground with dense foliate and baroque scroll ornamentation framing a central cartouche. Within the cartouche, the Cyrillic inscription ДЕРЖАВНИЙ КРЕДИТОВИЙ БІЛЕТ (State Credit Note) appears above the large denomination СТО КАРБОВАНЦІВ (One Hundred Karbovantsiv), with a note below stating the note's gold equivalence. The header inscription УКРАЇНСЬКА НАРОДНЯ РЕСПУБЛІКА (Ukrainian People's Republic) runs across the top, flanked by the numeral 100 on both sides, and two manuscript signatures appear at the lower portion alongside the date РОКУ 1917. |
