| Description du revers | Printed in warm brown tones, the reverse is dominated by an intricate guilloche pattern with a large central numeral '100' enclosed within an oval lathe-work frame. Two symmetrical oval vignettes, one to the left and one to the right of the central numeral, each contain a profile portrait of a classical warrior figure wearing a crested helmet. The bank name and denomination legend are worked into the surrounding guilloche bands, with ornamental corner medallions repeating the denomination numeral. A perforated 'SPECIMEN BY ACT OF LONDON' cancellation is also present on this side. |
