Opmerkingen

Estonia's 1935 100 Krooni was printed domestically by Riigi Trükikoda — an intentional assertion of capability by a country that had only established its central bank in 1919. The engraving credit to Karl Doll, who signed his work "Tael," is the more interesting detail: Doll was one of the few Estonian engravers of his generation working at a professional level comparable to the major European security printers, and his involvement in this series was a point of genuine national pride.

Günther Reindorff designed across multiple Estonian issues of the period; his work on the 1935 series is considered among the stronger output of the Krooni era before Soviet occupation in 1940 effectively ended the currency's legal existence.
