背面描述 The reverse is dominated by an elaborate symmetrical guilloche underprint in brown tones, with a central circular medallion bearing the monogram of the issuing bank. Denomination numerals "100" appear in ornate cartouches at the left and right, while a bold ribbon banner across the centre carries the inscription "ROMANIA". The lower portion displays fine repeating microtext lettering reading "BANCA NATIONALA A ROMANIEI" and "UNA SUTA LEI" in two horizontal bands.

备注

This issue belongs to the turbulent final chapter of Romanian monarchical banking. The Communist-backed Groza government had been in power since March 1945, but the National Bank still operated nominally under its pre-war charter. The 1947 series was issued just months before King Michael was forced to abdicate on 30 December 1947 and the Romanian People's Republic was proclaimed — making notes of this type among the last issued under the old institutional framework.

A currency reform followed in August 1947, with devastating conversion ratios that wiped out savings held in older denominations. Notes from this series circulated in that collapsing environment.
