This note predates the introduction of the "SERİ" prefix in the serial numbering system, which the Central Bank adopted to standardize series identification across denominations. The absence of that prefix isn't a printing error — it's a transitional characteristic of early output from the Ankara banknote printing works, which had only opened its doors in 1955 and was still refining production conventions during the late 1950s.

The brown reverse distinguishes this from later printings of P#169 variants, a color shift that followed ink and plate changes at the Emisyon Müdürlüğü facility.
