| Obverse description | Printed in blue-violet on a light guilloche underprint, the obverse carries Arabic inscriptions at top identifying the issuing authority, with the denomination numeral 100 repeated at upper right and lower left corners. A large hexagonal guilloche panel occupies the left field, while the Syrian national arms — an eagle with shield and three stars — appears within a circular vignette at right. The legal tender clause in Arabic is set centrally above two manuscript signatures and the Arabic serial number. |
