| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a stylized figure of an archer in profile, drawn in a bold, graphic artistic style, aiming a bow toward the right of the field. Decorative floral and botanical motifs — including pomegranates, poppy-like flowers, and leafy stems — surround the athlete, evoking traditional Azerbaijani artistic ornamentation. In the upper field, the bilingual legend 'BAKU 2015 I AVROPA OYUNLARI / FIRST EUROPEAN GAMES' arcs along the rim in raised Latin letters, accompanied by a small circular Games emblem to the left. The overall composition integrates sporting action with a rich decorative background characteristic of Azerbaijani applied art. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Azerbaijan made its Olympic debut in Atlanta in 1996, shortly after independence, and archery has remained one of the disciplines where Azerbaijani athletes have competed at the international level. This coin was issued as part of a broader series tied to the Baku 2015 European Games — the first edition of that multi-sport event, hosted in Azerbaijan and treated by the government as a major assertion of geopolitical relevance in the post-Soviet space.
The European Games themselves were organized under the European Olympic Committees and drew significant controversy over Azerbaijan's human rights record during the buildup to the event.
