正面描述	The obverse is dominated by an intaglio portrait of Hồ Chí Minh within an oval guilloche vignette at right, rendered in brown and olive tones against a multicolour underprint of radiating lathe-work patterns in orange and green. The national emblem of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is centrally placed above the denomination legend. A blank oval reserve for the watermark occupies the left field, with the numeral "100" in a blue guilloche cartouche at lower left and a decorative ornamental panel at lower centre.

背面描述	The reverse carries a panoramic vignette of Hạ Long Bay, with characteristic limestone karst formations rising from calm waters and numerous traditional junk sailing vessels dispersed across the foreground, rendered in fine intaglio line work in blue-grey tones over a pink and yellow guilloche underprint. The denomination numeral "100" appears in a dark red cartouche at lower left, with a corresponding decorative scroll panel at lower right bearing the date 1980. The issuing authority inscription runs along the upper border.
