Obverse description Portrait of King Jigme Singye Wangchuck at right, wearing traditional ceremonial headdress, with the royal emblem (double dragon motif) at left and an ornate guilloche mandala vignette at centre. Denomination numerals appear at upper left and lower right corners, with serial number in red at upper right. Inscriptions in Dzongkha script appear along the lower margin beneath the title 'Chairman'.
