| Obverse description | Printed in purple on a fine guilloche underprint, the obverse carries a large intaglio vignette of a laureate female head in left profile, set within an oval frame at right. To the left, an engraved Hungarian coat of arms within an ornate cartouche is flanked by decorative floral corner motifs and the denomination numeral 100 in each corner. The issuer's name MAGYAR NEMZETI BANK and the denomination SZÁZ PENGŐ appear in bold letterpress, with the date Budapest 1945. évi április hó 5-én inscribed centrally, accompanied by three manuscript facsimile signatures beneath their respective titles. |
