| 备注 |
Banco de la Unión was a short-lived Colombian commercial bank, chartered in 1875 and gone before the end of the decade that followed — casualties of the chronic instability that plagued private banking in the Regeneration period. Notes of this denomination from this issuer had an extremely limited window of legitimate circulation, and ABNC's involvement tells you more about prestige signaling than distribution volume: Colombian banks of this era routinely commissioned New York-engraved stock to project solvency they did not always possess.
P#264A is among the rarer surviving examples of provincial Colombian private issue from this period. The 100 Peso face value placed it well above everyday commerce.
