Obverse description Black on orange and multicolour underprint, with a vignette of Christopher Columbus at centre left and the Nicaraguan coat of arms at right. Three manuscript signatures appear below the central text block, with order numbers printed in red. Series letter G is indicated, with the date 1º DE ENERO DE 1910 at top.

Reverse description Printed entirely in red, the reverse centres on an oval vignette of the gateway and entrance avenue to the Government Palace, with the main facade visible in the background and a figure in the foreground. Large guilloche medallions bearing the numeral 100 flank the central vignette at left and right, with the denomination CIEN PESOS worked into the surrounding lathe-work. The imprint of American Bank Note Company, New York appears at the bottom margin.
