Obverse description Intaglio-printed note in green and mauve, with an oval vignette of King George V in full regalia at right, framed by guilloche underprint. The central legend reads "I promise to pay the Bearer the sum of ONE HUNDRED RUPEES on demand at any office of issue" with the issuer imprint below. Serial number and section prefix appear at upper centre and lower left; circle vignettes and ornate corner rosettes complete the design.

Reverse description Printed in green and mauve with a large central guilloche panel flanked by two unprinted oval medallions set on decorative pillar motifs. The denomination is rendered in seven Indian regional scripts arranged vertically in the centre. At the foot of the note a letterpress banner reads "RUPEES 100" within a sawtooth border.
