Reverse description Purple and olive-green reverse dominated by two large blank oval guilloche vignettes flanking a central panel of multilingual denomination inscriptions in Devanagari, Bengali, Burmese, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Gujarati scripts, all set against an intricate fine-line guilloche underprint. A red overprint legend runs across the top. The lower register carries a solid olive-green architectural frieze with the word RUPEES at left and the numeral 100 at right.
