| 表面の説明 | Crude letterpress-printed note in red ink on plain white paper, with a border of repeating ornamental devices framing the central text field. The inscription NEGARA REPUBLIK INDONESIA appears across the upper portion, with the denomination SERATOES 100 ROEPIAH in large numerals and letters at centre. A date line reads MEMBANG MOEDA 1 SEPT. 1947, accompanied by a signature and validating text in Indonesian below; a vignette of an agricultural or industrial scene occupies the lower central area. |

Membang Moeda — literally "raising gold" — was a regional treasury body operating in Sumatra under Republican authority during the Indonesian National Revolution. With the Dutch naval blockade severely restricting contact between Java and the outer islands, Sumatra issued its own emergency currency largely independent of the central Republican government in Yogyakarta. These notes were printed locally under difficult wartime conditions, and the print quality reflects exactly that.
P#319B is part of a series that circulated in a period of acute instability, when Republican-held territory in Sumatra was shrinking under Dutch military pressure during the 1947 Politionele Acties.
