| 备注 |
Mongolia's 1955 banknote series was produced during the height of Soviet economic integration, when the Mongolian tögrög was effectively pegged to the ruble and the State Bank operated under close alignment with Moscow's financial directives. Having Goznak — the Soviet state printing works — produce the notes was less a practical arrangement than a political one. Mongolian currency design and production remained firmly within the Soviet orbit until the 1990s.
The credited designers, Shi-bu and D. Amgalan, represent an unusual acknowledgment of local artistic input for a Goznak-printed issue — Soviet-produced notes for client states rarely named non-Soviet designers in catalog records.
