| 表面の説明 | The obverse features an intricate geometric meander (key-fret) pattern covering the entire field, evoking traditional Mongolian decorative art. Centrally positioned in the upper portion is a raised circular inset displaying the Mongol Bank emblem flanked by Traditional Mongolian script, with the denomination '100 ТӨГРӨГ' inscribed below it. In the lower half of the field, the large numeral '100' dominates, with the zero artistically incorporating a silhouette of a mounted revolutionary horseman raising a staff; the Cyrillic legend 'АРДЫН ХУВЬСГАЛ' (People's Revolution) is inscribed along the lower rim. |

Issued by Mongol Bank to mark the centennial of the 1921 Mongolian People's Revolution, which ended roughly two centuries of Qing and subsequent Chinese administration and installed one of the world's second-oldest communist governments — predating the Soviet Union's full consolidation and established with direct Comintern backing. Mongolia's revolutionary government was recognized by the USSR in 1921 but would not receive broad international recognition for decades, leaving the country in a prolonged diplomatic limbo that shaped its economic and monetary institutions well into the late twentieth century.
